Thanks Eddy and David.

On Eddy’s point about Hare Clarke, I disagree and think that it is by far the fairest and most accurate representation of any Australian state of how people actually think. As an advocate for proportional representation, elections should reflect the will of the voters.

Look at how terrified Labor and the Liberals are in Tasmania at being exposed for how popular they actually are: both are polling below 35% and yet confidently claim they will win a majority. On the mainland we are somehow content with majority governments when more than 60% vote against the major party that forms government.

The State ALP’s pathetic petulance in saying they will not form Government with the Greens shows how they will limit their opportunities to form government. Hare Clarke allows for independents with other ideas to come into Parliament too, versus our single member electorates.

Both major parties view any other competition as illegitimate. They are the biggest threats to democracy rather than the 33% who want to explore other options.

John Curtin and Andrew Fisher are the only PMs who deserve the Companion award for putting their country before their health in national crises.

Fisher refused the French Legion of Honour for his leadership in WW I.

Morrison was a miserable failure as PM and should slink off into obscurity.
